Cleveland Clinic research focused on patients who underwent HIPEC at the time of cytoreduction surgery for what was presumed to be ovarian cancer and was later confirmed as uterine serous carcinoma. The results suggest further research is needed to determine whether HIPEC holds possibilities for patients with USC.
