With more than 11,000 deliveries every year at Cleveland Clinic Children’s, there are many moms and babies in need of special care and delivery. Since 2012 Cleveland Clinic Children’s Special Delivery Unit has been providing meticulous management and delivery planning for fetal or maternal health issues, allowing mom and baby to receive lifesaving subspecialty care in one location. Adjacent to the SDU is a pediatric hybrid cardiac catheterization suite.
