The increasing integration of machine learning into the clinical and research landscapes of blood cancers merits understanding and attention from unfamiliar researchers and clinicians alike, according to a review recently published in Lancet Haematology. Senior author and Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Center for Clinical Artificial Intelligence Aziz Nazha, MD worked with a team to develop a computer model for prognostication for acute myeloid leukemia patients with more algorithms under development.
