Cleveland Clinic Children’s new home is in the former four-story Taussig Cancer Center on Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. The expansion unites both primary and specialty outpatient care in one convenient, coordinated environment better equipped to manage Cleveland Clinic Children’s 750,000+ patient visits. Children requiring hospitalization or complex care will continue to receive treatment within the M building on Cleveland Clinic’s main campus.

“This is an exciting new chapter in the history of Cleveland Clinic Children’s,” says Rita Pappas, MD, Interim Chair of Cleveland Clinic Children’s. “This new building helps bring visibility to the Cleveland Clinic Children’s brand. More importantly, it allows hundreds of doctors, nurses, therapists and other caregivers to work side-by-side to enhance the care and experience of every child.”

The new, 120,000-square-foot pediatric outpatient center features:

  • 65 exam rooms
  • 4 procedure suites for outpatient procedure staff by board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists
  • 20 private infusion rooms
  • 4 ECHO rooms
  • 3 pulmonary function rooms
  • X-ray and ultrasound testing
  • Stress testing
  • Blood draw lab with 5 private rooms
  • On-site laboratory testing conveniently located on the first floor
  • Playroom for patients and siblings
