The CME event will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic’s Lerner Research Institute. Attendees will learn about contemporary management strategies for head and neck cancer and the value of a multidisciplinary approach. The day-long event features lectures and panel discussions on updated therapies and new treatment innovations.
The 2024 Alumni Day follows a similar schedule format as last year’s with three two-hour-long moderated panel discussions. A discussion moderated by course co-director, Natalie Silver, MD, MS, on the “Latest and Greatest Clinical Trials in Curative Mucosal Squamous Cell Cancer,” kicks things off. After a short break, course co-director, Jamie Ku, MD, will moderate a discussion on “Key Impactful Clinical Trials in the Recurrent/Metastatic Setting.” In the afternoon, a panel discussion on, “Recent Innovative Trials in the Non-mucosal Head and Neck Malignancies,” will be moderated by Brandon Prendes, MD.
The panels include head and neck surgeons, otolaryngologists and oncologists from Cleveland Clinic as well as guest speakers from other medical institutions. This year’s guest speakers are Moran Amit, MD, PhD, from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; Evan Graboyes, MD, MPH, from Medical University of South Carolina; Ryan Li, MD, MBA, from Oregon Health & Science University; and Samantha Tam, MD, MPH, from Henry Ford Health.
