“Patient experience touches everyone in the healthcare industry – and many of the best solutions for improving the patient experience are found within the frontlines of patient care,” says James Bryant, DNP, RN, CEN, CCRN, NEA-BC, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Cleveland Clinic. “As nurses, we are on those frontlines every day. While Cleveland Clinic’s Patient Experience Summit focuses on the collective responsibility of all caregivers in improving patient care, it features dedicated attention specifically to nursing and the nurse’s role in transforming the way care is delivered.”
The 2017 Patient Experience Summit takes place May 22-24, at the Cleveland Convention Center in downtown Cleveland. Throughout the Summit’s three days, nurses, nurse leaders and other attendees will have the opportunity to learn and share, network and build relationships, and garner proven best practices and actionable advice.

From designing programs and services to structures, spaces and processes, empathy is key to delivering care that can truly meet the needs of everyone.
