Available pre- or post-conference, those interested in participating in an observation opportunity can meet with Cleveland Clinic nursing experts one-on-one or as part of a small group to explore topics of interest, observe nursing units and more.
“One of the greatest benefits of our pre- or post-conference nursing observation opportunities is that they are completely customizable to each participant,” says Cleveland Clinic Education Nurse Specialist Nancy Kanyok, MSN, RN, BC, CNS. “We want our participants to get the most out of their time with us, and our goal is to tailor the observation experience to each individual and his or her specific interests. We have a team of advanced practice nurses and clinical nurse specialists involved in our nursing observation program and their expertise covers all facets of the nursing profession.”
Observation opportunities range from a private two- or four-hour observation of an inpatient unit or outpatient clinic to a series of small-group discussions on industry trends, advancements in technology, best practices and more.
