I’ve been a nurse at Cleveland Clinic for 22 years. In that time, I have seen tremendous change in our organization, the field of healthcare and in myself.
Nursing has broadened my horizons and caused me to look outside my own little world. A career in nursing can bring a tremendous sense of personal and career satisfaction. It is nurses, of course, who are right there at the bedside, witnessing people’s lives and the positive results their care can have on a patient’s overall well-being.
With changes in the healthcare landscape, nurses increasingly are recognized as leaders in transforming the healthcare system to meet the burgeoning demand for prevention, wellness and primary care services, with a focus on improving quality and managing costs. In addition to providing direct patient care, nurses are being sought out to serve in a variety of new roles, such as care coordinators and leadership positions.
Our community’s needs are growing and the need for quality nurses is more important than ever. To proactively prepare for the changes in healthcare and to provide the best care to our patients and support for our caregivers during a time of increased census, Cleveland Clinic is hosting #NursesRightNow hiring events for registered nurses.
We know there are a lot of talented people out there who can help us with our overall goal of meeting the needs of our patients and their families—and at the same time, have the opportunity to achieve their personal career goals.
Now is the time.
Your time.
Your turn to discover the power.
The power to heal.
The power to change lives — beginning with your own.
The power of you.
