The 2017 conference, “The Ever-Changing Landscape of Oncology Nursing: From Diagnosis to Survivorship,” features sessions, comprehensive discussions and presentations that explore critical oncology-related topics and examine the ever-changing oncology landscape.

This informative and engaging conference is designed to offer practitioners key insights into the evolving nature of oncology nursing to give attendees an edge in their pursuit of positive clinical outcomes.

During the two conference days, attendees will focus on nursing care related to specific disease groups and treatments, complementary modalities, palliative care and survivorship, as well as nursing advocacy and professional development.

“Whether it be from population growth, changing regulatory requirements, ongoing medical advancements or elsewhere, oncology nursing is always evolving,” says Janie Burke, MBA, BSN, RN, CPN, NE-BC, Clinical Nursing Director, Cleveland Clinic Children’s. “In a unique and highly engaging forum, this conference will offer attendees the latest in leading strategies and techniques to better manage patients throughout this continual evolution and all along the care continuum, including how to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes and more.”

The Oncology Nursing Conference begins with registration and breakfast on April 6 at 7 a.m. EST with a conference introduction slated for 7:50 a.m. EST. It will take place at the Westin Cleveland Downtown and will conclude at 3 p.m. EST on April 7.
